What this policy covers
This policy explains what information nexp ("we", "us") collects when you use nexp.dev, the console and nexp instances we host for you, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. Your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash by nexp IAM) when you create a nexp.dev account.
- Instance metadata. Organization names, instance slugs, environment status and usage signals (e.g. last activity) needed to operate provisioning, licensing and the free-tier lifecycle.
- Operational logs. Standard technical logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
Your application data
Data you store inside your instance belongs to you. Each instance has its own private, isolated data store; we access instance contents only to operate the service (backups, incident response) or when you ask us to. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
How we use information
- To provide, operate and secure the service.
- To communicate service messages (provisioning, lifecycle, security).
- To enforce our terms and prevent abuse.
Retention & deletion
Free instances that remain inactive are paused and eventually archived with a backup, then removed on the published schedule. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time via [email protected].
Sub-processors & transfers
We host on hardened infrastructure operated by us and established cloud providers. Where data crosses borders we rely on appropriate safeguards. A current list of sub-processors is available on request.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, export or erase your personal data, and to object to processing. Contact [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy here and, for material changes, notify account owners by email.
